Jeff Landry pushes constitutional convention, but are legislative leaders on board?

Under a newly filed bill, delegates would convene in late May to write a new state constitution. After reading Beaullieu’s bill, Mary-Patricia Wray, a lobbyist and adjunct constitutional law professor at Tulane Law School, likened the constitution to a closet that hasn’t been cleaned in a long time.
